This Weekend: Hermit Firestorm Emerges From His Cave!

That’s right, kiddos, after almost three years of not being seen on the Northwest wrestling scene, I will be making my first venture to a BC wrestling event since May 2005!

I’ll be heading to the All Star Wrestling event this Saturday (September 15) at the Comox Band Hall in Comox, BC. It should be a fun night or wrestling action, and it’ll be absolutely fantastic to meet up with some of my old friends there. I can say without worrying about feeling all mushy that I have missed several of them a great deal. I have forged some unreal friendships in the BC wrestling scene, and I can’t wait to renew those bonds.

I simply can;t wait to be around a live show environment, as I have to admit, I miss the atmosphere every single day. When i was shooting some Stampede Wrestling events in Calgary, it took all my energy to contain myself fro jumping in the ring and cracking some skulls.

As for the matches themselves, it looks like there’ll be a great mix of somethng for everyone, featuring some of the most talented wrestlers in BC. If you are able to, make it out to the event and be sure to track me down and say hello. As a matter of fact, the entire Firestorm Family will be there, which will be the first time ever we have ventured to an event together!

I’ll be there with a bunch of cameras capturing material for a few projects I am working on. If you would like to lend a hand, please fire off an email to me, and we’ll arrange something.

For more information on All Star Wrestling and Saturday night’s event (they also have a show September 14th in Squamish, BC), please check out their website at www.AllStarWrestling.info.

All Star Wrestling is a relatively new compnay that I am excited to be involved in from a video production standpoint. They run a lot of fundraisers and other events that benefit communities and worthwhile causes.

On a somewhat related note, I have quietly been going through a lot of old files and disks, adding old pictures to my new Flickr account.

I suggest specifically checking out the “Old School ECCW” section for some great pictures from the late 1990’s. There’s some real gems in there!
