Getting Old

For those of you paying attention, tomorrow is my birthday!

Now, that puts me in a conundrum.

You see, I like my birthday. Birthdays are great. It’s a celebration of being alive. At the same time, I really loathe the idea of getting another year older. I’m very young at heart (my wife will say too young), I don’t want to be an old man.

Simply put, I don’t want to grow up, I’m a Toys R Us kid, there’s a million toys at Toys R Us that I can play with. From Cars to planes to video games, it’s the biggest toy store there is. I don’t want to grow up, ’cause if I did, I wouldn’t be a Toys R Us kid.

That said, any presents are welcome.

  1. It’s crazy how fast time flies, isn’t it? What beautiful chrleidn. I love their personalties coming our in this series of pictures. I look at pictures of Harrison a year ago and I’m floored at the changes that I don’t see subtly day to day. It’s bittersweet for me some days knowing I’ll only have one.
